The Financial Literacy Programme for Youth is designed for secondary school students, empowering youth with essential financial literacy while fostering positive and responsible attitudes and behaviours in managing personal finances.

The 2026/27 programme features different school outreach activities to meet the educational needs of students and align with school schedules:

  1. Financial Education Activities for Students
Financial Education Interactive Seminar for Junior Secondary or Senior Secondary Students
The one-hour seminar delivers essential financial knowledge, engaging students and creating their awareness of the importance of long-term financial planning.
Financial Education Simulation Workshop for Junior Secondary Students
Through hands-on activities for 1.5 hours, students develop practical money management skills and learn to safeguard themselves against online scams.
Investor Education Simulation Workshop for Senior Secondary Students
The 2-hour simulation workshop equips students with the skills to make informed investment decisions and to master risk management techniques.
  2. Train-the-Trainers
Dedicated training is provided to teachers for their professional development in financial education, as well as to students who become ambassadors to lead financial education and anti-scam initiatives for their peers within schools.
  3. School-Based Financial Education Activities Support
Schools receive support and guidance to organise in-school financial education activities, further enriching student learning following their visit to the IFEC FinEd Hub.
