Getting an education or starting a new job can be exciting and stressful, you may face some important financial decisions. Join the IEC’s exhibition booth at the Education & Careers Expo 2014, you can get tips on managing money wisely through display panels and interactive tools, take part in quiz games and be rewarded!
In addition, a seminar titled “Working Holiday – Get Set, Go!” will be held, where Ms Jenny Yeung, who had spent a year in Germany for a working holiday, will share her experience of how to get prepared for a working holiday financially. No matter whether you have plans to enjoy a working holiday, her experience and tips on creating a budget and managing expenses such as outbound and return flights, insurance, accommodation, local transportation, food and other daily costs while travelling, will help you plan and manage your finances. Don’t miss the exhibition and the seminar!

Whether they are in tertiary education or entering the workforce as they are becoming financially independent, they have many important money management issues to deal with, such as paying for school fees and rent, managing their income and budget, and using credit card wisely. The IEC encourages young people to plan their finances from young age and promote responsible attitudes and habits.
